# Fundraising for our footy club

The average monthly July rainfall fell in just the first two days of July. As a result, Cox Creek burst its banks in many locations throughout our town. As has happened before, the Bridgewater Raiders Football Clubrooms were flooded, resulting in about $3,000 worth of damage which isn't covered by insurance.

The reality is these clubrooms are in the wrong place, prone to future flooding.
