Advocacy for Mount George Conservation Park

Activating Bridgewater is keen to play an advocacy role for our local community on matters we know residents are passionate about.
The State Government was recently undertaking public consultation on the Small Central Lofty Parks Draft Management Plan and Activating Bridgewater undertook to draft a submission.
Key elements of our submission were:
the need for increased resourcing to control invasive weeds,
Cox Creek riverbank requiring stabilisation to prevent further erosion, and
a community desire to reinstate public toilets at Mount George picnic grounds.
