Expression of Interest - Mural Artists
Exploring connection to our place
We are really excited to invite expressions of interest from artists to create a mural on the public toilet block at the Bridgewater Oval (pictured).
We are fortunate to have received a generous donation from the Stirling Markets Inc., and we are looking to bring Bridgewater's first mural commission to life!

Submit your EOI to activatingbridgewater@gmail.com by responding to the brief. We do not expect sketches or drawings at this stage, though preliminary ideas are welcome.
We are interested in hearing from artists who have a connection to Bridgewater. Artists can elaborate on this connection in their EOI.
Shortlisting will take place by a panel including a Council staff member, Activating Bridgewater volunteer and a local experienced arts worker. Shortlisted artists will each be paid $500 to develop some concept designs.
The final commission is $5,000 and should be completed before winter sets in.
EOI closes COB 31 March, 2026.
